On April 14, 1989 a tenacious boy named Brennan Rose entered the world with a hunger and thirst that would make him great. Brennan won the genetic lottery by having a natural athletic ability that most would envy. Born and raised in Southern California, surfing became second nature to him. By the age of 10, he had transformed into a prodigious young waterman with the potential and passion few possess. From the classic waters of California to the unparalleled swells of the Hawaiian Islands, Brennan has unapologetically manhandled some of the best waves in the world. In 2012 Brennan suffered a catastrophic injury that could have abruptly ended his flourishing SUP career. During a ski trip, Brennan blazed off the edge of a mountain and fell 70 feet, crushing both his knees. He went through a double knee surgery that left him in a wheel chair for six weeks. With Brennan’s voracious need to get back into the game, he began training as soon as he was able to learn to walk again.
Six weeks of pent up frustration and ADHD meshed to create a beautiful monster. He came back fitter than he’s ever been ablaze with the need to win.Brennan is now considered one of the Top 10 paddlers in the world. His unwavering urge for adventure landed him in SUP Magazine for paddling the Pailolo Channel backwards with close pal Zane Schweitzer, a feat that has never been done before. Brennan has also succeeded in winning …………….Brennan has a heart made of mushy gold. He is one of the most generous, kind-hearted men a person could ever meet. He’s spent hours of his free time helping children with autism learn to surf, racing for “Standup For The Cure”, and selflessly delivering random acts of kindness to those around him.
